NBA star Trae Young went down with a freak injury against the Nets, and was ruled out for the rest of the game after playing six minutes.

Trae Young’s injury occurred late in the first quarter of the Hawks’ game against the Nets, not too long after he made the pass to Luke Kennard for the easy three. As of publication, the game was in the third quarter with the Hawks holding a slim lead.
Mouhamed Gueye fell into the back of Young's leg, and after briefly trying to play through the injury, Young left the game and went into the locker room. While he's out, Luke Kennard, Keaton Wallace and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could see more action.
Trae Young had a stern warning for his haters, including Patrick Beverley, and believes the criticism will soon wash away.
