As search and recovery efforts proceed in Central Texas, relief organizations in Central Florida are preparing to respond if needed.

Central Florida Task Force 4, which includes 34 members from Seminole County, Orange County, and the Orlando Fire Department, deployed early Tuesday morning from Seminole County. The team is expected to arrive in Central Texas by Wednesday and begin operations Thursday.

Jeff Popovich, vice president of global operations, said two trucks packed with hygiene kits, food and water will arrive Tuesday in Hunt, Texas to do a distribution at the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department.
