The Supreme Court on Thursday cleared the way for the Trump administration to deport to South Sudan a group of migrants that have been held for weeks on a military base in Djibouti. The high court’s unsigned order came days after a majority of justices allowed the administration to deport certain migrants to countries other than their homeland with little notice.

The move clears the way for the deportation of eight men being held in a detention center at a U.S. naval base in East Africa to conflict-ridden South Sudan.

The Supreme Court is clearing the way for the deportation of several immigrants who were put on a flight in May bound for South Sudan, a war-ravaged country where they have no ties.
