On January 27, the Lions announced that left tackle Taylor Decker would be joining this year's Pro Bowl roster for the NFC.' This will be Decker's first appearance in the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of fellow Lions Penei Sewell, who will miss the event because of an injury.

Sewell says he has watched last season's playoff loss at least 10 times, and this time the Lions won't be denied.
