The Starbucks rival opened its first two stores in New York City on Monday, as the Xiamen-based coffee purveyor sets out to expand its market and garner favor with U.S. customers. The two Manhattan storefronts are located at 755 Broadway in Greenwich Village and 800 6th Ave in Chelsea.

Luckin Coffee, the largest coffee chain in China, has branched into the US with two New York City locations that opened Monday, June 30.

On Monday, Luckin Coffee held soft openings at two locations in New York City: 755 Broadway in Brooklyn and 800 6th Avenue in Manhattan. “This is just the beginning,” Luckin Coffee wrote on its Instagram page dedicated to its U.S. footprint. “NYC, we’re here.”
