On Friday, the NCAA finally dropped the hammer on Michigan for its sign-stealing scheme from the 2023 season. Unsurprisingly, former head coach Jim Harbaugh was penalized for his role in all of this.

NCAA rules that Michigan engaged in a scouting scheme, but it did not impose a postseason ban. Jim Harbaugh is effectively banned from collegiate ranks until 2038.
Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman said earlier this week that he expects right guard Mekhi Becton to be ready for Week 1 even though Becton hasn't practiced in over two weeks, but head coach Jim Harbaugh didn't go nearly that far in a Thursday press conference.
