San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner didn't let his season-ending ankle injury stop him from supporting his team in a 20-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football, and star tight end George Kittle had an interesting way of describing his teammate.

The Niners All-Pro linebacker was at home victory over the Falcons with his pregnant wife and son following season-ending surgery this week on his ankle.

Fred Warner's fellow linebackers paid homage to their team captain with special T-shirts that were shared by the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.

The San Francisco 49ers have lost Fred Warner for the year, but defensive coordinator Robert Saleh believes Tatum Bethune is the right man to fill in.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Wednesday that Warner’s surgery was a success. “ The surgery went good ,” Shanahan said, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. “Just talking to everyone, they said it went great.”

McCaffrey had 201 total yards from scrimmage and scored twice. A young 49ers defense allowed only one TD. There weren’t many big plays from either team but the 49ers never lost control of the game.
