A Farmington woman shot by her husband Sunday has died from her injuries, authorities said, while the alleged gunman died by suicide at the scene. Farmington Public Safety Director Bob Houhanisin said officers were called to the area of Farmington Road and Nine Mile at about 5 p.m. Sunday for a report of an assault in progress.

When the police arrived, they found a woman who had been shot, and her husband had retreated into their house.

One person was shot and a suspect is dead after a standoff in Farmington Sunday night, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
