The Missouri Tigers were rewarded on Sunday after their 23-17 double overtime defeat of the Auburn Tigers. In the latest AP Top 25, Missouri was bumped up one spot from No. 16 to No. 15. Week 8 of the college football season concluded four consecutive weeks of Auburn playing teams ranked in the top 25. That is life in the SEC, though.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Americans are growing increasingly concerned about their ability to find a good job under President Donald Trump, an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll finds, in what is a potential warning sign for Republicans as a promised economic boom has given way to hiring freezes and elevated inflation.

Despite beating the No. 25 Michigan Wolverines 31-13 on Oct. 11, the USC Trojans are no longer ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll entering week 9. Michigan being ranked over USC isn't the only controversy from the recent AP Top 25 rankings.
