The Los Angeles Chargers arguably have the most talented collection of quarterbacks to never win a championship. It began with Dan Fouts in the 1970s and 80s, then Drew Brees and Philip Rivers continued the legacy in the early 2000s,

Quarterback Philip Rivers retired from the NFL in 2021. Four years later, he's taken the step of officially doing it as a member of the Chargers.

Rivers called it quits after his 2020 season in Indianapolis, but came back to his longtime Chargers to officially retire 5 years later.
