Nice, the gardens are better than the insides. Ceilings in some rooms are magnificent but you are not allowed to click photos inside. Some restoration work was going on when we visited in April. Tick…Full review by harshneekhra

You absolutely can do it on your own. You just walk into the ticket office, which is right on the property, then queue to get into the inner courtyard area and there's another booth where you can get the audio sets, which are free, and you do not have to lose your place in the queue. No pre-reservation required unless you are planning on going at a particularly busy time. The tickets are fairly expensive.
AdSkip the hour long ticket lines and explore DolmabahcePalace with an audio guide. Skip the long lines & make the most of your visit to DolmabahcePalace. Book your tickets.
