The entry to the resort is separate from the entry to the Garden. Once you turn in under the big pretty sign to the Garden, off the main road, keep going straight. The resort is up ahead on the right. In the winter time when the garden is open fewer hours than the regular season, Garden Members can enter the garden from up at the Resort. If you join the Garden, you can walk in the Garden 365 days a year and you can take your dog. Come visit downtown Silverton when you are in town. We have great restaurants and a movie theater.

I agree with the others who answered - minimum of 2 hours. Depending upon your companions and your own interest in gardens, you might spend the whole day. You won't see everything in 2 hours, even if you take the free tram tour. You can take a picnic and eat at their picnic tables, or drive the short distance into Silverton for a restaurant meal and then return. For someone living in Oregon City, you might even consider an annual pass.
