Excellent library and museum. Learned so much about the man and his legacy. Was able to appreciate so much that he did both during his presidency and so much more afterward.Full review by NMGatorgirls

There is a cafeteria which opens at noon, it has indoor and outdoor seating and is nice and airy. The food offered is written down on a blackboard and I believe it changes daily. When I was there they had roasted chicken, potatoes, gravy, rice and some vegetables. I think you pay a single price for the whole order. I didn't eat there (because there were no vegetarian options and didn't want to pay a full price for just the vegetables) so I'm not entirely sure of what the charge is -I vaguely remember it being something between 10-15 USD but don't hold me to it.

According to the website, the nearest MARTA station is Inman Park and it's a 25 minute walk. 1.Follow the signs pointing to Inman Park to exit the MARTA station. 2. At street level, turn right and walk to the edge of the parking lot to reach a sidewalk marked “The PATH” (next to the fence) 3. Follow the PATH all to library/museum. The sidewalk winds through rolling hills, and crosses over three streets: Euclid Avenue, Lake Avenue and N. Highland Avenue. 4. After crossing N. Highland, keep right when the path splits. The museum is on top of the hill behind the trees. Tip: Use Google Maps for additional help with walking directions. Bus 16 travels to the Carter library and museum from downtown Atlanta and Lenox Square Mall (although the commute is much longer from the mall). Although you can board the bus outside the Five Points station, it is a better experience to wait for the bus next to the Peachtree Center complex along Peachtree Center Avenue or use the bus stop near the intersection of Auburn Avenue and Park Place next to Woodruff Park. Tell the driver your destination if you aren’t sure which stop, or use Google Maps to get stop information and estimated time on the bus. The MARTA on the Go app also provides schedules and real-time map of the bus location. Note that when departing from downtown to the museum, the bus travels on what looks to be an interstate ramp just before arriving at the building, which is a good time to signal for the bus to stop. For your return trip, you’ll have to wait for bus 16 on the opposite side of the Carter Center parking lot.
