Catch the shuttle to the South Terminal and walk along the river there and stop at the Flying Beaver Pub for some good food and then take the shuttle back
I would like to know how the MVPB, and Richmond Mayor Brodie can seriously justify the SR/SS hours of operation applicable to this scenic gem of nature.So far I have been emailed by the Park Staff and listened to Mayor Brodie giving the following reasons. " there are no street lamps" "vandalism" "dumping" "prevent camping" ..all in the interest of public safety. These reasons are simply an outrageous expression of paternalistic authority and give cause to evoke strong public reaction to this denial of basic freedom to roam along an open expanse of shoreline.
