The Galle Dutch Fort, also known as the Dutch Fort or the Galle Fort, is a fortress located in the coastal city of Galle, Sri Lanka. Built by the Dutch East India Company in the late 16th century, the fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. The fort's walls, which extend for 2 kilometers, enclose a number of historical buildings, including churches, government buildings, and private homes. The fort also offers a picturesque view of the Indian Ocean. The Fort is a blend of Dutch and Sri Lankan cultures and a great place to visit to learn about the history of the country.

The fort was packed with tourists when I visited and was full of shops and restaurants designed for tourists. This detracted from the atmosphere of the place.Full review by Cruiser794608

hi there so many. good restaurants on the peddlers street if you walk all of them are roadside restaurants which serves good food but if you want sea food peddlers in cafe is good
