From the Meridian/Old Mammoth Rd intersection (the Vons intersection), go north on Old Mammoth Rd until it ends. Turn left on Main St. Follow Main St and it turns into Lake Mary Road. Follow this 5 miles or so and you will see a brown sign pointing towards Pokonobe Lodge and Lake Mary Campground. Turn left. After crossing the bridge, turn right. This road takes you to Lake George. The trailhead is on the righthand side of the road as you get close to the Lake George parking lot.
